West Indies (WI) vs England (ENG), 2nd ODI: Liam Livingstone achieved his first ODI century, propelling England to a record chase in Antigua and equalizing the three-match series. Shai Hope's century for the West Indies proved to be in vain. On Saturday, November 2, Livingstone's captaincy played a pivotal role in England's successful pursuit of 329 runs, marking the second-highest successful chase in ODI history within the Caribbean.

Entering the match at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium with some pressure after their eight-wicket defeat in the first ODI on October 31, England delivered a commendable batting performance led by their interim captain Livingstone. This victory kept the series alive, setting the stage for a decisive match scheduled for Wednesday in Barbados. Despite Shai Hope's impressive century for the West Indies, it was not enough to secure a win. Livingstone reflected on his performance, stating, "Certain things I have done in practice and at the end of the season in England felt like I have been getting back to my best. Maturing and I'm enjoying my cricket and if I'm enjoying my cricket, I play well. Pretty proud day."

England ultimately surpassed the West Indies' score with 15 balls remaining, securing a five-wicket victory. Livingstone's performance was bolstered by significant partnerships, including a contribution of 59 runs from Phil Salt at the beginning of the chase.
